Kevin Clark is a co-founder and director of the Matvin Group of companies, teaming up with fellow director Matt Ellingham in 2001 to establish the business. Kevin has 25 years’ experience project-managing commercial property developments including large scale industrial projects, residential apartments, health care facilities, retirement villages, aged care, retail centres and education facilities.

Kevin is currently focused on growing The Botanic retirement village group, and supporting the construction and development of the $500m independent, luxury, high-end brand.

Kevin is a former associate member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, majoring in valuation and property management. He has also held multiple directorships and governance roles.


If Kevin’s not at work, you will find him at a rugby or cricket ground supporting, or coaching his kids teams.

Matt Ellingham is a co-founder and director of Matvin Group, teaming up with fellow director Kevin in 2001 to establish the business. Matt has worked in the building industry for more than quarter of a century and has extensive design and build expertise.

Matt has a deep understanding of architecture, urban design principles, as well as structural and civil engineering. He has project-managed industrial and commercial developments, residential apartments, retail centres, education and health care facilities, and retirement and aged care villages.

He spent his early years ‘on the tools’ and is a qualified carpenter by trade. If Matt’s not at work, you’ll find him dirt-bike riding or fishing.

Ryan has a deep understanding of property development, construction and the investment industry. He trained as a carpenter and studied Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and Business at Massey University and Otago Polytechnic.

He has held a number of leadership roles in the construction industry in both the North and South Islands, and has extensive experience in project managing commercial property developments including hotels, residential apartments, commercial property, retail centres and custodial and education facilities.

If he’s not in the office, you will probably find him competing at a multi-sport event, or on the ski-field.

Dennis is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and joined Matvin Group in May 2022 as CFO.

Dennis has 14 years’ experience working across a variety of industries in public practice. He works collaboratively with businesses to develop a best-in-class finance function to protect assets and value, and provide timely and quality insights to support decision making.

Outside of work, Dennis is a keen follower of the All Blacks and basketball.

Iris holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, majoring in Accounting and Finance. She is a provisional member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and is working towards qualification. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved in the construction industry and found a great passion to progressing her career within the industry.

She enjoys the sun and loves to try all kinds of outdoor exercises like snowboarding, diving and hiking.

Julia’s background is in administration and accounting and she spent many years working for an accounting firm. If she’s not in the office, she is most likely enjoying the sun with friends, and in winter you’ll find her on the mountain.

Jeremy has worked in the construction and property development industry for over two decades helping to deliver a range of building typologies including industry-leading mixed use developments and commercial precincts.

Jeremey has a keen eye for design and is a Registered Architect. In his spare time he enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with his family.

Thomas has a strong background in Project Management and Development consultancy, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying. Thomas is a keen and competitive sailor, so when he’s not at his desk, he’ll likely be out on the water.

Lauren has a background in Event Management and was introduced to the property industry while she was National Event Manager for a commercial property membership organisation. She has a keen eye for detail and enjoys building professional relationships.

If Lauren’s not in the office, she is most likely out on the boat fishing, paddle boarding or adventuring with her family.

Ella holds a Bachelor of Property and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Commercial Law and Management. She has worked with Matvin Group since 2019 and is chiefly focused on the retirement and commercial sectors.

Ella enjoys skiing and spending time with friends and family.

Olivia holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Property, Human Resource Management and Employment Relations from Massey University.

Olivia enjoys golf, tennis and spending time with friends and family.
